Volcanic Pottery
Ever since
my first visit in 1994 I have been experimenting with the volcanic
earth of Hawaii. After moving here in 1998 I seriously began working
with various soils and trying many different techniques. When I discovered my current process
in 2002 I knew instantly it was the look I had been striving for. A
bright orange surface that was all natural, made in Hawaii, and
wonderfully unique!
Furthermore, I've worked very hard mastering the raku and pit fire techniques so as to enhance the incredible volcanic orange surface with natures touch.
